1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the TableTop Trades platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
The Platform is operated by Analog Geeks, LLC. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account immediately.
3. Account Responsibilities
When you create an account on the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
4. The Platform and Services
TableTop Trades is a board game trading platform that uses a mathematical matching algorithm to facilitate trades between users. The Platform allows you to list items for trade, express preferences via want lists, and participate in organized trade events.
The Platform serves solely as a facilitator. TableTop Trades connects traders and computes optimal trade matches. The actual exchange of items is conducted directly between the trading parties. We are not a party to any trade transaction between users.
5. Fees and Pricing
The Platform is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce fees for certain features or services in the future. If we do, we will provide advance notice to registered users and clearly disclose any applicable fees before they take effect. Continued use of paid features after fees are introduced constitutes acceptance of those charges.
6. User Conduct
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- List items you do not own or are not authorized to trade
- Misrepresent the condition, completeness, or identity of items you list
- Fail to follow through on trades that have been matched and confirmed
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to manipulate the matching algorithm or trade results
- Create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or security
7. Trading and Fulfillment
When you participate in a trade event and receive matched results, you are expected to fulfill your trades in good faith. This includes:
- Shipping items promptly after trade results are published
- Packaging items securely to prevent damage during transit
- Providing accurate shipping information
- Communicating with your trade partner if any issues arise
You are solely responsible for the cost of shipping and for ensuring that items arrive safely at their destination.
8. Limitation of Liability
TableTop Trades is a facilitator only. We are not responsible for:
- The condition, quality, accuracy of description, or legitimacy of items listed by users
- Items lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping
- Users who fail to complete or follow through on matched trades
- Any disputes, disagreements, or claims arising between trading parties
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform
The Platform and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Dispute Resolution Between Users
Any disputes arising from trades — including but not limited to item condition, non-delivery, or misrepresentation — are solely between the involved trading parties. TableTop Trades does not mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between users. We encourage traders to communicate directly and resolve issues in good faith.
10. User-Generated Content
By posting content on the Platform — including game listings, descriptions, images, and want lists — you grant TableTop Trades a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Platform's services. You retain ownership of your content. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except where your content has been shared with other users as part of a completed trade.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that your content does not violate the rights of any third party.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine:
- Violates these Terms
- Is harmful to other users or the Platform
- Involves fraudulent or deceptive behavior
- Constitutes repeated failure to fulfill matched trades
You may also delete your own account at any time. Upon termination or deletion, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any pending trade obligations at the time of termination remain your responsibility.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
